The aspirant who won Awendo Constituency primaries on ODM ticket has been arrested with ballot papers.
Mr. Walter Sirwa was arrested at a Migori hotel together with the returning officer who had presided over Awedo ODM nominations. The two were caught tearing Governor Obado’s ballot papers for the Awendo Town Hall polling center.
When asked why he was not at Migori TTC tallying center announcing the results, he said ” I had only come to relieve myself before coming to the county tallying center,” he told daily nation
Heavy security has been deployed at the hotel to protect the evidence.
The two were in the company of another man that has not yet been identified.
