President Uhuru’s condolence message to U.K’s Theresa May after Terrorist attack

President Uhuru Kenyatta has offered his message of condolence after terrorist struck a concert where singer Ariana Grande was performing in Manchester.

Uhuru in his message told U.K Prime Minister Theresa May that he understands how much such an act of terrorism means to her as a leader and as a nation.

He also pledged to render any form of help to U.K government in fighting the terrorist.

“Kenya knows what it is like to suffer a tragedy such as this, so our hearts go out to the UK, and especially to the families which have woken to the devastating news this morning,” he said in a press statement as told by Daily Nation.

So far, 22 people have been confirmed dead and 59 others confirmed to have sustained injuries.

The attack comes at a heightened moment when Britain is holding its political campaigns.

With the attack, May said that she has suspended her campaigns until further notice.

She also said they are working on unraveling the whole attack which authorities have flagged as terrorism.

“We are working to establish the full details of what is being treated by the police as an appalling terrorist attack.”

The Press Association news agency reported that opposition’s main candidate Jeremy Corbyn also suspended his campaigns.

This means the national campaigning ahead of the June 8 vote has been put on hold.
