A day after the burial of former Cabinet Minister Mzee Simeon Nyachae, a US-based woman, Margaret Kerubo Chweya has emerged.

Kerubo according to Citizen Digital claims that she and her 47-year-old son Rodney Nyachae who she allegedly sired with the late Nyachae were kicked out of the funeral.

She recalled having a hard childhood since she was an orphan. She had to work at a tender age and was finally absorbed into public service in 1973 when she met Nyachae.

They worked at Jogoo House in Kisii where their relationship developed and before long, they sired a child together.

Kerubo, now 65 said that she gave birth to their second child Nyandusi Nyachae, six years later.

It is after the birth of the two children that Nyachae facilitated her travel to the US for further studies where she went on to settle after attending school.

Last year in November, she flew back to Kenya from the US to visit Nyachae who had been ailing.

However, she was not able to meet him due to the tough COVID-19 restrictions put in place.

She left photos of her grandchildren at Nyachae’s office hoping that he would finally see his grandchildren.

Kerubo flew back to the US only to return recently upon learning that Nyachae had kicked the bucket.
