Mugithii maestro Samuel Muchoki popularly known as Samidoh has apologized to his fans and family after online vitriol directed to his wife Eddy Nderitu.
This follows confirmation that he is the father of Karen Nyamu’s second-born son. Nyamu is a Nairobi-based politician and self-styled youth activist.
Last week, she shared a video of Samidoh lulling the baby to sleep and captioned it “A dad doesn’t tell you that he loves you, he shows you #muchokis.”
On Tuesday, Samidoh posted a hearty message asking his fans to desist from attacking his wife Eddy and his young son.
“I am sorry!!! I have put my family and myself in a bad situation. It is true I had a friendship with Ms. Karen Nyamu and its this involvement that led to the birth of an innocent child whom I have and will always support both emotionally and materially. I am a proud father to my children.
“I am however perturbed by the motive and timing of these past videos which have led unnecessary trolling of the child and my wife, I have never left my wife of 11 years for another woman. I apologized to her and my family before,” he states.
He urged his fans to pardon him for setting a bad example adding that his is not perfect and that as a family, they have had their ups and downs but have remained as one.
“I now apologize to you my fans for setting a bad example. I take full responsibility for my mistakes which I regret. We have had our own shares of ups and downs but we are stronger and happy together.”
As soon as Samidoh’s hearty apology hit the interwebs, his baby mama responded sarcastically.
She told Samidoh there was no reason for him to apologize for fathering a child with her because there is nothing wrong with it.
“Running away from reality mpaka lini lakini si ata unge shika your lovely wife bibi vile wewe hunishika wanaume wewe…It was easier to declare whole truth not half because utakuwa slave wa ma apologies. You have done nothing wrong babe,” the sassy lawyer posted on her Instastories.
For the last few days, Karen and Samidoh’s wife have been going at each other with jibes.
Over the weekend, Eddy said indirectly claimed that Karen has been using pseudo’s to stalk her.
Fired up, Nyamu asked her to share screenshots of the alleged stalking and get a Ksh1 million prize.
