Christian one of the twin brothers of the popular music duo, the Longombas will be buried in the US following his demise on Saturday.

His burial will be held in California on Thursday, March 18 according to his family in a short private ceremony comprising family members and friends.

Video director J Blessing is among Kenyan celebrities who will attend the funeral.

He told the Standard that the Longomba’s have been close to him and he wishes to see his friend sent off.

“I will be attending the burial. The family has been very close to me and it is only reasonable that I go and give my brother a good send-off,” J Blessing said.

Christian succumbed to brain cancer which he has been batting for several years now and had undergone a major surgery.

Doctors found blood clots in his brain and he underwent a second brain surgery but did not recover.

His twin brother Lovi in an emotional post online recalled how he got a ‘prophetic” message that his brother would kick the bucket on Saturday.

“On the day that he was leaving, God spoke to me and told me, ‘Christian is leaving today.’ I tried everything, spiritually, and materially to keep him here, but man, when God speaks, God speaks and there is nothing you can do about it and it is always for the better. Even in this, Jesus is still glorified,” Lovy wrote on his Instagram page.

The Longombas were a big name in Kenya’s entertainment industry back in the 2000s where they released the widely-played Vuta Pumz, Piga Makodi, Dondosa, Shika More among others.
