Media Mogul, S.K Macharia is mourning the death of his son who died in a road accident at the Southern bypass on Thursday evening.
According to the Star, John Macharia crashed and lost his life while a female passenger he was cruising with at the time escaped unhurt.
His body has since been moved to the mortuary.
Two years ago, John was involved in yet another accident at Museum Hill in Nairobi where his new Porsche saloon car worth Sh30 million, rammed into Prado that was ahead of him.
Upon investigations, police arrested him for drunk driving and he was arraigned before a Nairobi traffic court.
Police said he had failed to undertake a breathalyzer popularly known as alcoblow before he rammed into the Prado.
Through his lawyer Ian Maina, he pleaded guilty and said he was remorseful of his actions. He vowed not to repeat the offence again.
