The Court of Appeal has suspended justice Odunga’s Ruling that he had made earlier today.
In his ruling earlier Wednesday, Odunga had said the process of appointment of Returning Officers and their deputies was not in accordance with Regulation 3 (2). Although he declined to quash the gazette notice on their appointment, the IEBC filed an appeal with the Court of Appeal.
Hours to the repeat election on Wednesday evening, the court of Appeal ruled in favor of the IEBC suspending Odunga’s ruling.
