An MP from the Coast region in Kenya has sent shock waves after proclaiming he has successfully found a cure for HIV/AIDs in its early stages.
Magarini MP Harry Kombe on Tuesday claimed that AIDS can be cured through reflexology alone according to a Nation Media subsidiary- Nairobi News.
Further, the lawmaker said reflexology is a double pack of greatness. Besides curing AIDS, the therapy-designed treatment also cures impotency, stroke, high blood pressure, stress, kidney failure, infertility and brain tumor.
Reflexology according to google is a system of massage used to relieve tension and treat illnesses. The system is wholly based on the theory that there are reflex points on the feet, hands, and head linked to every part of the body.
Reflexologists believe that applying a certain amount of pressure to these points have a health benefit to their patients.
Kombe also noted that through the therapeutic treatment, a 60-year old woman recently gave birth, a testimony that reflexology works.
He plans to mobilize and train youths in his constituency and offer the service to patients at a fee between sh.200 and 2,500.
He said it will be a form of creating employment for youths in his constituency. Every session lasting to about 19 minutes, will have the patient pay between sh200 and sh500 in Magarini Constituency.
But for those in Malindi and beyond, they will have to part with sh2, 500 to get the service.
