Six members of the same family perished in an early Saturday morning accident in Ruai. The family was traveling back home to Kangundo from a graduation upcountry, in Kakamega when the car they were traveling in collided with a lorry at Ruai bybass.
A traffic police officer who was at the scene said the driver of the Noah Vehicle that the six were in survived the accident. He is receiving treatment at a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, while occupants of the lorry escaped unhurt.
Police are still investigating the matter to determine exactly what happened.
