Christopher Nyangwara Mosioma popularly known as Embarambamba is not new to controversy but this time around, he crossed the line and has apologized for it.

The gospel artist who has been making headlines for the past few months over his nature of talent was seen in a viral video getting down to erotic moves with a female fan.

This ‘dirty’ performance triggered an uproar among Kenyans who have called him out.

Embarambamba was performing in of the clubs along Thika Road where the incident was recorded.

As soon as it hit social media streets, Kenyans asked him to stop ‘embarrassing himself’ in the name of talent.

Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) chair Dr Ezekiel Mutua called him out saying that he crossed the line this time around.

“Embarambamba, that’s gross! You have crossed the line and there are consequences!” Dr Mutua said.

He said the act was too explicit the fact that he is a gospel artist notwithstanding.

“stuff. That’s a personal matter. The issue is that the video is explicit and amounts to indecent exposure!”

In his defence, the Kisii-born artiste said that people misinterpreted his act while all he did was sending the message of his song home.

“Wakenya wamenihukumu, wakenya wamenitusi, mafans wangu wamekasirika wengine wakisema eti mimi sijaokoka. Lakini wakenya wenzangu, hii video, kabla hujacommend, angalia statement yake kwanza (Kenyans have criticised me, they have insulted me and my fans are mad at me, some saying that I am not a Christian. But my fellow Kenyans, before you commend, look at the statement of the song),” Embarambamba maintained.

“Don’t judge me na hao wananiita majina Ati sijaokoka na Ati mimi ni shetani should stop because Jesus came for us sinners of this world, I will continue going to preach in clubs and political rallies,” he stated.
