Following her COVID-19 positive test, a battle between her and Keyshia Cole, another RnB artiste has been put off.

Verzuz made the announcement saying that the January, 9, 2021 event has been put on hold.

“Unfortunately, we have to postpone tonight’s @Ashanti vs @KeyshiaCole #VERZUZ. Ashanti tested positive for COVID-19 beforehand, and we cannot put anyone at risk in the process,” read a statement from Verzuz.

A week ago, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) issued a Level 4 alert for Americans seeking to visit Kenya owing to the huge number of COVID-19 cases in the country.
