By Pharis Kinyua: Jamhuri News

The August 8 polls are quickly beginning to become a reality to Kenyans as Presidential candidates present their nomination papers.

On Sunday, IEBC cleared several candidates among them NASA’s Raila Odinga.

Dr. Ekuru Aukot of the Thirdway Alliance was first to be cleared at the IEBC offices then Abduba Dider who was followed by Raila.

Soon after he was cleared, Raila and his team headed for a rally at Jacaranda Grounds in Donholm where they declared to unseat Jubilee on August 8.

Raila put Jubilee in the red stating that his clearance is a pointer that a revolution has started and Jubilee should be ready to pack and go home.

He said his leadership will lower the cost of living for Kenyans which has now become a daunting task for average Kenyans to feed their families.

The opposition chief expressed optimism in having free, fair and credible elections. He said that if he is trounced in a transparent and credible process, he will concede to defeat.

His running mate and Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka said the pentagon has all that is required to beat Jubilee in the polls.

President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to present his nomination papers on Monday; the last day IEBC has given for presentation of the papers.

He is expected to jet in the country tonight from Italy where he was attending the G7 summit.
