Ndii renounces he’s Kikuyu, says he is now “Jaluo”

NASA strategist and economist Dr. David Ndii has renounced being a “kikuyu” and proclaimed he is now a “jaluo”.

In a fiery tweet on Sunday, Ndii said he is tired with the appeal for ethnic solidarity for the uthamaki- vernacular slang which describes the Kikuyu community.

“Dear #uthamaki  I’ve had enough of appeal to ethnic solidarity. I hereby renounce my Gikuyu citizenship. Consider me a Jaluo and let me be,” he wrote on his twitter handle.

Ndii, despite being a Kikuyu by tribe, has remained to be one of the biggest critics of Jubilee regime led by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

But his tweet seemingly ruffled feathers within several quarters with some asking him to tweet about more important things.

“That’s a personal decision.Tweet things that make sense or improve our GDP. That’s too local from an expert of economics like you,” @David Ngure Nganga said.

“The other day someone assumed the imaginary presidency now you have assumed a fake identity. These are some of the positive effects of weed! Kindly share your supplier’s contact,” Bonnie Chege noted.

“Just be Kenyan. Truly Kenyan. #OneKenyaOnePeople,” tweeted Nairobi County Women Representative Esther Passaris.

Zumuni asked: “Does Gikuyu mean election theft? Does it mean land-grabbing or pick-pocketing? Mungiki? Githeri mentality? Crookedness? Does Luo mean intellect, academic success, honesty, principles, justice, uprightness or ethical personality? Could Ndii be talking about this difference?”

Political analyst Benjii Ndolo said: “No just remain Kikuyu, but a Reasonable and Rational one. One day useless ethnic tensions shall end.”

Instinct on Trial welcomed Ndii to the lakeside. “wow! That is great if Ndii is officially Jaluo. Now #uthamaki will drop BETRAYAL tag off his neck.”
