The National Super Alliance has announced resumption of street demonstrations against IEBC on Tuesday.

In a post on facebeook Sunday evening, Raila Odinga said they are resuming the protests that had been called on hold last week on Tuesday.

“We shall not relent on our struggle for a free, friar and credible election. We resume our picketing at IEBC offices countrywide this coming Tuesday and Wednesday,” he said.

He reiterated there will be no election on Thursday.

“As a coalition we maintain that there will be no election on Thursday and the commission must pave way for meaningful reforms. Canaan beckons and there is no turning back,” added Raila.

This is even as President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday warned of dire consequences against anyone who tries to prevent Kenyans from voting on Thursday, October 26-date for repeat poll.

He said just as opposition has a right to expression, Kenyans have an equal right to exercise their democratic right which is voting.
