A Swedish woman in her 60s is distraught after spending all her money on holiday with a young Kenyan boyfriend and cannot raise air fare to fly back home.

Anne Rundeck is currently unwell and looks frail. But she has no money to foot her medical treatment.

She came to Kenya six years ago and met Hamisi Zuya, a young man whom she fell in love with.

However, two years ago, her children stopped sending her money after learning of her escapades with a young Kenyan man not to mention her extravagant life.

Rundeck says her husband sold her home in Sweden and with the change of address; she can no longer receive her pension.

“My ex-husband sold our home. That affected my address,” she said according to the Star.

Worse still, her passport has been withheld by the Diani Resort management where she lives after she took a loan of Sh50, 000 but failed to pay it.

“I need to redeem my passport and raise fare for air ticket. It’s not that I miss Europe but I would like to go there get treatment.”

She also accuses her boyfriend of six years of “ignoring” her, a claim Zuya vehemently refutes.

“After squandering my money, he no longer has time for me. I’m really suffering,” says Rundeck.

In response, Zuya remarks, “I’m a hustler. I need time to get a reliable job in order to provide for her.”

She plans on selling her clothes and phone to raise air fare back to Sweden.
