The debate over which political faction between Jubilee and NASA is tribal than the other has been the topic for the past week.
This follows revelation that Wiper Party led by Kalonzo Musyoka nominated his eldest son, Kennedy Musyoka to the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA).
The news created a storm not only in Jubilee as would be expected, but also in Wiper. The party members cried foul saying that while he qualifies for the job, there are more suitable candidates who would be given the opportunity and not him.
Days later, it has now emerged that Deputy President’s William Ruto’s daughter, June Chepchirchir holds a plum post at Kenyan Embassy in Rome, Italy.
This is according to Sunday Nation.
The DP’s daughter holds a senior position in the embassy as the second Counselor in the Kenyan Embassy in Rome.
According to sources placed at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, they have described her rise of ranks to the position as “a fast climb.”
With this coming to the fore, question abounds just which faction between the two main ones, Jubilee and NASA holds the key to ending ethnicity
Last week, NASA principal Moses Wetangula bashed Ruto over his utterances that have painted their coalition as tribal based.
Wetangula said Jubilee turns a blind eye to tribal based appointments they make as well doing business with close relatives but are quick to besmirch NASA over young Musyoka’s appointment to EALA.
