Self-proclaimed Prophet Victor Kanyari over the Easter weekend broke down on live TV following the demolition of his nearly-completed church along Kangundo Road.

Kanyari famed for “Panda mbegu ya 310” sobbed while issuing a statement on his Shifu TV channel on Saturday.

Donned in a sack, he decried forces that are out to destroy his life saying it is witchcraft propelled.

“A church of 5,000 people, a church that I have constructed amid problem has been taken down!” he said with a sorrowful voice as he went on to share photos of the flattened structure.

The church was nearly complete and he hoped to launch it as his new branch.

He appealed to his followers to fundraise and help him purchase another piece of land to set up another church.

This time, he made the appeal while sobbing, donned in sacks and venting his pain following the flattening of his church.

At the bottom of the screen, he posted an emboldened message of “support” and reminded his followers that only Ksh100 and above is allowed as the offering.

After the Covid-19 pandemic struck leaving churches closed, Kanyari diversified his trade and ventured into rearing animals. Strained income from the church may have opened his eyes to venture into another business.

In photos he shared his next big venture could be animal husbandry. He has reared turkeys, goats and pigs which he can be seen feeding.

Since an expose on the fake miracles he staged, earned him a divorce from ex-wife gospel singer Betty Bayo, fortunes for Kanyari seem to be waning.
