Gvt. suspends passports of four NASA leaders

The government, through the department of immigration services is reported to have suspended passports belonging to several top NASA allies.

According to a notice published by Citizen TV and seen by Jamhuri News, David Ndii is among the affected. Others include Hassan Jojo, James Orengo and Jimi Wanjigi.

The notice served to NASA chief strategist David Ndii asked him to surrender his passport to the department of immigration services within 21 days.

” Pursuant to Section 31 (1) (2) of the Kenyan Citizenship and Immigration Act 2011, you are hereby notified that passport number C051258 which is in your possession remains suspended forthwith” read part of the notice.

The letter was signed by Maj. Gen (Rtd) Dr. Gordon Odemo Kihalangwa who is the director or the Department of Immigration Services.

The notice also warned that failing to surrender the passport would make it null and void.
