Nelson Marwa, Fazul Mohammed, ex-MPs shortlisted for PS jobs

Fiery Coast Regional Coordinator Nelson Marwa together with NGO Coordination Board Executive Director Fazul Mohammed are among those shortlisted for Principal Secretary jobs.

They are in a list of 120 shortlisted candidates for Principal Secretary jobs out of 4000 applicants.

But they are the only prominent personalities who are in the list.

According to the Star, ex-politicians have also been shortlisted.

They include lice Ng’ang’a (Thika Town), Danson Mungatana (Garsen), Moses ole Sakuda (Kajiado West), Sanjeev Birdi (nominated) and Benjamin Langat (Ainamoi).

Humphrey Njuguna (Gatanga), Njogu Barua (Gichugu), Augostino Neto (Ndhiwa), Ken Obura (Kisumu Central) and former woman representatives Tiya Galgalo (Isiolo) and Wanjiku Muhia (Nyandarua) are also on the list.

Former Laikipia Governor Joshua Irungu, Peter ole Mositet (Kajiado ex-Senator), Hazel Katan (Mombasa ex-deputy governor), and Narok governor losers Musuni Timpaiti and Patrick ole Ntutu are also on the shortlist.

Deputy President William Ruto’s chief of staff Ken Osinde, Security and Operations secretary in the Office of the President Amos Gatheca have been shortlisted.

Heads of parastatals have also featured in the list.

They include Mzalendo Kibunjia (National Museums of Kenya), Nduku Kilonzo (National Aids Control Council), Nixon Sigey (New KCC) and Francis Meja (NTSA).

Jonah Orumoi (Tourism Finance Corporation), Julius Juan (KICD), Malaqueen Milgo (Athi Water Services Board) and Lucas Messo (Agriculture Finance Corporation) are also in the list.

Public Service Commission led by Prof Margaret Kobia will start conducting interviews from Next week.

Only the successful 60 shortlisted applicants will finally get to serve in President Uhuru Kenyatta’s second term.
