Raila to give direction on repeat Presidential poll Wednesday next week

Opposition leader Raila Odinga

NASA Presidential candidate Raila Odinga will give his supporters direction in regard to next week’s repeat polls on October 25.

Speaking in Bondo on Friday, Raila maintained as far as he and NASA are concerned, there will be no repeat polls on Thursday next week.

“On Wednesday I will talk to Kenya and I will tell you what you should do ahead of the polls,” said Raila as reported by the Star.

He spoke just after President Uhuru Kenyatta vowed to deal firmly with any leader who disrupts the poll.

Uhuru in his Mashujaa Day speech said he will not allow the country to go back to 2007/2008 post election violence.

“The law will apply equally to all regardless of social class, political position and no one will be spared. For those who thrive in chaos and relish anarchy, your days are numbered; the law will take its course and sanction you accordingly,” the President said.

But Raila urged his supporters not to attack anyone especially Jubilee supporters saying he has nothing against them.

“I want to tell my people not to revenge against any Kikuyu man here in Bondo or anywhere else that Kikuyu or Kalenjin is also suffering as you are suffering,” said the NASA leader.

“The other day I was in Kiambu and they called me baba as Uhuru watched….The Kikuyu community are our people. Let us not take the sins of one person and put it in others heads

God will push Uhuru alone as he does not speak and serve the interest of any Kenyans.”

Jubilee has filed a suit at the Supreme Court citing Raila for contempt of court.

The Party has said Raila is making effort to block the polls from happening.
